Diffee is recovering from a revision surgery at Children’s Hospital.  Children, who are patients at the hospital, got to choose, with their families, one pumpkin each from 200 that were donated by May Farms in Byers, CO.  Aurora.  This is the 8th annual Pumpkin Patch event held at the hospital. Aurora firefighters and police officers were on hand to unload the boxes of pumpkins and help children choose their pumpkins. Denver Zoo staff uses a giraffe shoot they have had for years, but is in the process of designing and constructing a new giraffe shoot.
